Patricia Grube is a Certified Yoga Instructor and is a registered member with Yoga Alliance. She received her Hatha Yoga Certification training in 2004 from Leeann Carey at Planet Yoga in Hermosa Beach, California. For Pregnancy and Mommy & Baby Yoga she was certified in 2005 by Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa at Golden Bridge Yoga in Los Angeles, California.

A native of California, Patricia lived in England for 2 1/2 years where she also taught yoga classes as well as attended various yoga and birth workshops in London. She continues to further her knowledge by attending classes, workshops and seminars given by various yoga teachers and birth educators who have inspired her through the years.

In 2006 Patricia attended the one-of-a-kind Trust Birth conference in Cambridge, England given by Francoise Barbira Freedman of the Birthlight Trust Foundation where she attended workshops and talks given by birthing anthropologists and pioneers such as Ina May Gaskin, Frederick Leboyer, Sheila Kitzinger, Dr. Gowri Motha, Janet Balaskas, Dr. Michel Odent, Joseph Chilton Pearce, Uma Dinesmore-Tuli, and Blandine Calais-Germain.

Patricia is a current member of the Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association (CAPPA); a member of Doulas of North America (DONA) and also a member of Doulas Association of Southern California (DASC). She has completed certification programs for Childbirth Educator and Labor Doula.

Patricia is also a producer of yoga instructional videos and has projects underway for books and photo slideshows.

Patricia is also a Second Degree Level Reiki Practitioner in the Usui System of Natural Healing through Reiki Masters, Valorie Knutson (Los Angeles) and Marlene Shreeve (UK).

Patricia has a strong background in dance and was an accomplished college and professional cheerleader. Patricia's style combines elements of movement-therapy with yoga to create a fun-filled class in a safe environment.

In 2004, she was given the spirit name Gurudeep Kaur by Yogi Bhajan and the 3HO organization. The name means Princess who is the light of God.

Patricia currently lives and teaches in California with her husband and little boy. She enjoys travel, photography, and all things creative!
