Hatha & Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Patricia is available to teach Group and can be hired for Private/Semi-private lessons. She is certified to teach Hatha Yoga, Children's/Teen yoga, pregnancy yoga, and postnatal yoga.
Hatha Yoga: Yoga can help reverse the aging process by improving flexibility, massaging the internal organs and glands, sending oxygen to all the body's tissues, and enhancing a state of serenity. Breathing deeply into certain postures affects the nervous and lymphatic systems.
It helps relieve tight muscles, increases energy and circulation, improves strength, and promotes radiant skin.
On a deeper level, it's a tool for observation. It brings us into the present so that we may fully receive what each moment has to offer and teach.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga is designed to align, strengthen and stabilize your body, mind and spirit. Evolving from the traditional Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow focuses on integrating breath and movement, awareness and alignment, strength and flexibility. Vinyasa Flow Yoga is likened to a beautiful and dynamic dance as the postures and asanas are connected through breath and balance.
Yoga for The Chakras
Chakra Yoga: Chakras are powerful energy centers in the body, aligned with specific emotions and body parts. We often create physical and emotional blocks in these centers, closing ourselves off from feeling fully alive. Chakras Yoga can access and open these centers. Through a combination of pranayama, asanas, mudras and meditation, you will achieve a higher level of awareness of your body's energy system. We begin at Chakra One and move up the spine to Chakra Seven. Each Chakra will be open clear and spinning. Join me and experience a complete workout of the mind, body and soul.
